Dr. Ashlee Haynes Razor is a dedicated educational leader with a proven track record of advancing student success through strategic, equity-focused programs and partnerships. With extensive experience in K–12 and higher education systems, she specializes in designing academic, social-emotional, and college/career development initiatives that empower students—particularly those from historically marginalized backgrounds—to thrive.

Throughout her career, Dr. Razor has led high-impact student engagement strategies, directed comprehensive support services, fostered inclusive learning environments, and orchestrated cross-sector collaborations. Her leadership is guided by a deep belief in every student’s potential and the importance of partnerships between schools, families, and communities.

Through SHINE, LLC she brings her expertise to educators, helping professionals, students, families, institutions, and community organizations through offerings such as:

  • Youth Mental Health First Aid certification for educators and helping professionals

  • Career coaching for school counselors seeking to deepen impact and grow professionally

  • College & career planning for youth and young adults, helping them define and pursue purposeful pathways

  • Strategic support services designs that enhance student belonging, motivation, and achievement

Dr. Jasmine D. Haynes

Social Work & Education Scholar | Champion of Racial Wellness & Healing

Dr. Jasmine D. Haynes is a social work and education scholar whose work centers on racial wellness, healing, and equity. Her research sits at the intersection of social-emotional well-being and racial justice, guided by two core goals:

  • Advancing racial equity and emotional wellness among Black youth and young adults, and

  • Exploring the practices and critical consciousness of helping professionals serving marginalized populations.

She engages in community-based participatory action research (PAR), qualitative methodologies, and trauma-related studies in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Her teaching and training reflect a justice-driven, healing-centered approach that prioritizes reflection, transformation, and collective care.

As a social work professor, Dr. Haynes is especially committed to mentorship and support beyond graduation—particularly for early-career social workers from historically marginalized backgrounds—helping them grow with confidence, purpose, and community.

Through SHINE, LLC, Dr. Haynes offers:

  • Youth Mental Health First Aid certification for educators and helping professionals

  • Trauma-informed training (with a specialty in racial trauma) for educators and helping professionals

  • Wellness groups for youth and professionals
